SRE is very respectful about the privacy concerns of the visitors to its Site. As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from visitors to this site. However, certain non-personal information of visitors is recorded by the standard operation of SRE's Internet servers. This information is primarily used to provide an enhanced online experience for the visitor. Information tracked includes the type of browser being used by the visitor (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) in use by the visitor and the domain name of the visitor's Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink). Limited Lifetime Warranty SRE will provide a Limited Lifetime Warranty (LLW) to the original residential purchaser of the SRE Thermostat. During that period we will repair or replace (replacement limited to one time) the SRE Thermostat with one of equal or greater value (whether new or refurbished) as determined by the SRE service manager. This warranty is specific to the SRE Thermostat and excludes any and all shipping, handling, diagnostic, travel and labor charges. This warranty does not cover damage due to: - Misuse
- Relocation
- Improper wiring
- Battery replacement
- Programming issues
- Acts of God
The LLW will terminate and revert to the original manufacturer’s warranty starting from the original date of installation in the event that: - the original homeowner moves from the home,
- the SRE Thermostat is used in commercial or rental properties, or
- the imprint on the SRE Thermostat is removed, destroyed, or is no longer intact.
Coverage does not include any deterioration of the lettering or cosmetics of the unit. The value of the warranty shall at no time exceed the price of the original part. SRE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING THOSE RESULTING FROM A MALFUNCTIONING OR FAILURE OF THE PART(S) OR AS A RESULT OF ANY LABOR PROVIDED FOR REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR ADJUSTMENTS. The limit of liability for SRE coverage shall be the dollar amount of the original purchase price of the SRE Thermostat. Customer must present the original invoice to validate the warranty at time of repair. If the problem is unrelated to the SRE Thermostat or not covered by the warranty, regular service rates will apply.
